Now that you have heard supporting points from both sides of the arguement, you will now write a reflection of how you feel about saviour siblings and PGD. In your reflection, be sure to answer the following questions:

• What was your role in the debate? Who's side were you arguing for and how did you contribute to the debate?

• How do you feel about your side's arguement? The counter arguement? Identify the main aspects of both sides that you agree and disagree with.

• What is your opinion on using saviour siblings and PGD? You do not have to have a clear stance on this issue, but you do need to provide explainations for your beliefs.

• How do you think the use of genetic sceening will affect fututre generations? Is it possible to ever eliminate all of the diseases that exist?

• There are studies looking into methods of genetic engineering where unhealthy embryos, or ones with undesirable traits, would have genes extracted from them and would either be altered or replaced with much healthier ormore optimal ones. If this becomes possible, how would these "designer babies" affect society and the future.
